TIPS & RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USING THIS KIT WHEN APPLYING READY TO ROLL SKIMCOAT PLASTER

Fibertech recommend use of this kit when applying Ready to Roll Skimcoat Plaster.

For easy application on large jobs, apply approximately one square metre of Ready to Roll Skimcoat Plaster, smooth, then move on to the next square metre.

Correct application of Ready to Roll Skimcoat Plaster. will result in a minimum of spatter, but it is recommended that the area around where the plaster is being applied be protected with a dust-sheet.

Keep a container of water and a cloth on hand for wiping excess material off the spreader.

Any slight imperfections that may result from application will be removed by a light sanding of the surface, For best results when sanding, after the plaster has been applied for 1-2 hours, dip the wet and dry sponge sanding block in some water and sand away any irregularities.

Step By Step Instructions for using this kit with Ready to Roll Plaster

Step One
Use the high density foam roller included in this kit to apply the Ready to Roll Skimcoat Plaster. Simply dip the roller into the bucket of Ready to Roll Skimcoat Plaster ensuring the roller is completely covered and roll onto your prepared surface in an up-and-down motion.
Step Two
Use the spreader included in this kit to smooth the plaster after it has been applied to your prepared surface. For best results use the spreader at an angle of about 20° from the surface in an even downward motion.
Step Three
When the plaster has dried for approximately 1-2 hours, dip the wet and dry sponge sanding block included in this kit in some water and gently sand away any irregularities that may occur from application of the Ready to Roll Skimcoat Plaster.
